About Fence Company McAllen

Who we are

Fence Company McAllen is a referral service for homeowners and property owners in McAllen and the surrounding Rio Grande Valley. We don't build fences ourselves. We connect you with independent local fence contractors who do.

Why we started

Getting a fence built shouldn't be the hard part of owning a home, but it often is. Many good fence installers in the Valley are small crews who are busy on job sites all day. They miss calls, their websites are out of date, and it can take a week of phone tag just to get someone out to measure. We fix that first step.

How it works

1. You tell us about your fence: the type, the rough length, the height and where you live.
2. We pass your request to an independent fence contractor who works in your area and does that kind of job.
3. The contractor contacts you, measures and gives you a quote.
4. You decide whether to hire them. There's no cost to you for the referral and no obligation.

Who we work with

We connect homeowners with local fence contractors who build in the McAllen area. The contractor you're connected with is responsible for the quote, the work and any warranty they offer, so ask them about licensing, insurance and guarantees before you sign anything. If something about a referral doesn't feel right, call us and tell us.

Your information

When you request a quote, we share your name, phone number and project details with the contractor handling your request, and that's it. Read our privacy policy for the details.

What to ask the contractor

When the contractor calls you back, a few questions help you compare them with anyone else you talk to:

• How long have you been building fences in the Valley?
• Are you insured, and can I see proof?
• What's included in the price: tear-out, haul-off, permits, staining?
• How deep do you set the posts, and are they set in concrete?
• What warranty do you offer on materials and labor?
• When can you start, and how long will the job take?

A good contractor will answer all of these without hesitation.
